Sam Tompkins has signed a worldwide (excluding AZ and NZ) publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music

British singer-songwriter and musician, Sam Tompkins has signed a worldwide (excluding AZ and NZ) publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group.

Through the release of a number of singles and EPs, Sam has earned an army of fans as well as the admiration of stars such as Fred Again, Sam Smith, Bebe Rexha and, avid supporter, Justin Bieber.

Earlier this year, after discovering Sam’s music, Justin & Sam worked in the studio together. Sam then ended up supporting Justin at shows in the summer, with Justin even inviting Sam onstage to duet with him.

Sam landed his first UK Top 10 in early 2022 with the release of his EP Who Do You Pray To?. The record charted at Number Seven and included the singles ‘Whole’ which has racked up almost nine million Spotify streams and ‘Hero’ which has three million Spotify streams. He also landed a viral hit in 2021 with ‘TO THE MOON’, his single with Jnr Choi, which currently has 207 million Spotify streams as well as 2.1 million TikTok videos.

Emily Foreman, Senior International A&R & Catalogue Manager, Warner Chappell Music UK, said: “Sam is an incredible talent, with a huge career ahead of him. He’s got real potential to become an international success and we’re really excited to be working with him as he continues to develop his songwriting. 2023 is going to be a big year for him and I can’t wait for people to hear his new music.”

Sam is currently working on his debut album, with new music set for release in 2023.
