Sam Thompson to take over The HITS UK CHART on Hits Radio

For all of those listeners who can’t get enough of Sam Thompson from Monday to Thursday on Hits Radio you’ll now be able to find him on a Sunday night too. From this weekend (Sunday 21 May) the Made in Chelsea star will be taking over The HITS UK CHART across the Hits Radio network.

The new show comes hot on the heels of Sam’s success with Hits UK with Sam Thompson – three hours every Monday to Thursday in which Sam is joined by the biggest names in music, film and TV and is THE go-to place for breaking new songs and new artists.

A revamped Chart Show will see Sam bringing more of his personality and fun to the countdown as he chats with artists breaking in to and climbing up those charts.

Sam said: ‘I cannot believe that I am going to be revealing the Number One to the nation every Sunday night! It is an actual dream come true to be hosting the Chart Show and I cannot wait to get started. Who’s going to be my first Number One?! Make sure you’re listening this Sunday to find out.’

Sarah-Jane Crawford will now be hosting a new look weekday late show Monday to Thursday from 10pm as well as brightening up the airwaves on Saturday afternoons between 4 and 7pm as part of a revamped weekend schedule.'
