Rob Littlejohn to leave BBC and lead Apple's Charlie Sloth 'Fire In The Booth' and 'Rap Show'

Highly respected BBC radio editor Rob Littlejohn is leaving the corporation after 15 years to head up production on the highly influential Fire in the Booth as well as the Charlie Sloth Rap Show.

Starting in August, this appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Fire in the Booth as Charlie Sloth aims to bring this culturally significant platform to fans on a more global scale, following their first international edition in June which featured German rapper Luciano and was released exclusively in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since its launch ten years ago, Fire in the Booth has become the world’s biggest freestyle platform, with more than a billion views to date and is hosted alongside the Rap Show globally on Apple Music. Known for championing the hottest rising talent here in the UK, it also regularly features the rap scene’s biggest artists such Drake, Giggs, Lil Baby, Stormzy, Pop Smoke, Wretch 32 and Megan Thee Stallion.
