River House Artists Sign Grant Gilbert to Global Deal

Today, River House Artists, in partnership with Sony Music Publishing Nashville, today announced the signing of rising country music singer-songwriter Grant Gilbert to a worldwide publishing deal.

Texas-native Grant Gilbert has gained prominence within the country music scene over the last few due to his work performing with country star Josh Abbott, which led to his 2019 EP Loud and Clear, featuring his successful single “Held On To.” Recently, Gilbert announced plans to tour throughout Texas and the southeast, where he will perform hits off his March 2021 EPTrouble Like Us, including the popular single “I Don’t Wanna Be That Guy.”

Gilbert launched his music career during his time in college at Texas Tech, when he began playing shows at the Blue Light – a rowdy club that has supported the establishment of prominent country artists including Josh Abbott, Wade Bowen and William Clark Green. His continued success at the Blue Light quickly earned him an opportunity to perform Gary Allan’s “Watching Airplanes” alongside Josh Abbott and William Clark Green. Since then, Gilbert has played numerous shows with Abbott and embarked on a world-class songwriting retreat with some of the best in country music from Texas.
