Proper confirms distribution deal with Mascot Label Group

Proper Music Group, part of Utopia’s Distribution Services, has signed a deal with Mascot Label Group, a leader in the worlds of rock, metal and blues, for sales and distribution across the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

The new deal encompasses Mascot Label Group’s imprints, including Mascot Records, Provogue, Music Theories Recordings and Cool Green Records. Notable releases so far this year have includedBeth Hart’s ‘A Tribute To Led Zeppelin’ which reached #17 in the UK Album Chart and #1 in the Rock & Metal Chart and Black Stone Cherry’s ‘Live From The Royal Albert Hall... Y'All! which hit #2 in the Independent Chart and #2 in the Rock & Metal Chart. Other releases consist of David Paich’s ‘Forgotten Toys’ and Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s ‘Trouble Is…25’, which will follow later this month.

With such an extensive catalogue, Proper’s well established services and infrastructure will support Mascot to grow its reach across two continents.
