Polydor Label Group unveils multiple internal promotions

Polydor Label Group today announces a series of internal promotions that mark a significant evolution in the company’s structure, underscoring its ongoing commitment to championing exceptional talent from within.

Jodie Cammidge has been appointed sole Managing Director of Polydor Label Group. Jodie will continue to drive the label’s vision, working closely with artists and teams to deliver standout campaigns and long-term growth. His promotion reinforces PLG’s commitment to consistent, strategic leadership at the highest level.

Supporting this momentum, Paddy Mclean has been promoted to General Manager of PLG. Paddy’s contributions have been pivotal to the label group’s operational excellence and campaign delivery, and his new role will see him take on expanded responsibilities across day-to-day marketing and execution.

Alongside her responsibilities with the PLG international artist roster, which has seen her delivering campaigns for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Jade Bradshaw steps into the role of General Manager of 0207 Def Jam where she will lead the charge in delivering innovative campaigns and championing talent across UK music and beyond.

In recognition of their outstanding work and impact, Helen Fleming and Ali Tant have both been promoted to Directors of Marketing. Their combined expertise and creative leadership have been instrumental in shaping the label group’s marketing successes for artists including Glass Animals, Florence + The Machine, Holly Humberstone, Michael Kiwanuka, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Inhaler, Billie Eilish and Good Neighbours, and this move reflects their continued influence on PLG’s artist-first, culturally resonant approach.

Further strengthening PLG’s pop credentials, Jamie Ahye has been named Head of Pop Marketing. Jamie has been integral to the delivery of successful campaigns in the pop space, with credentials spanning releases from Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga. His new role will allow him to further amplify and shape the label’s presence in this core genre.

Silas Howison-Waughray, who has led campaigns for the likes of Irish dance-pop artist Jazzy, has been appointed Director of Dance Marketing and General Manager of Chaos Records. This dual role reflects his pivotal work in driving the label’s dance strategy and overseeing the growing influence and output of Chaos Records.

Finally within 0207 Def Jam, Chloe Kyei has been promoted to Senior Marketing Manager, recognising her strong contributions to the label’s marketing strategy and her continued championing of culturally impactful projects. Chloe’s previous successes include campaigns from Doechii, Chrystal and Playboi Carti.

Ben Mortimer, President, Polydor Label Group, commented: “We are incredibly proud to see this group of leaders step into their new roles. Each one of them has made an enormous contribution to our culture, our campaigns, and the continued success of our artists. These promotions are richly deserved and reflect the strength, vision, and creativity that drives everything we do at Polydor Label Group.”

These promotions reflect the dynamic vision, creativity, and collaborative culture at the heart of Polydor Label Group, and position the company for even greater success in the years ahead.

PLG continues to dominate the charts in 2025. Capitol Records UK rising star Olivia Dean continues her meteoric rise, with two singles in the UK Top 10, her collaboration with Sam Fender at #11, plus ‘Dive’ just outside the Top 20 and ‘Man I Need’ breaking globally with a debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Sabrina Carpenter’s new album ‘Man’s Best Friend’ has stormed to No.1 on the Official Albums Chart with the biggest opening week of 2025 so far by an international artist, shifting over 85,000 units. Her 2024 release ‘Short n’ Sweet’ climbs back into the Top 10 this week, while her previous ‘emails i can’t send’ has just reached a brand-new peak at 21. Together, these results highlight PLG’s position at the forefront of global music this year, holding the top three biggest single and album debuts of 2025 so far.
