Must-see concerts, experiences, panel discussions, thought leadership, parties and more from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Golden Globes, Deadline, Sportico, Artforum, Luminate, and The American Pavilion

Today, Penske Media Corporation's (PMC) iconic brands announced a compelling lineup of activations for the inaugural South by Southwest® London (SXSW), taking place June 2–7, 2025. Building on the legacy of SXSW Austin, the new London edition will feature a slate of high-impact events including live concerts, immersive experiences, expert panel discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities.

June 2: Sportico will be the presenting sponsor of the first-ever SXSW London Sports Track in June 2025. The Sports Track will leverage Sportico's insider access to examine Sports Tech & Performance, brand and sports influence, the future of sports gaming, and athletes as investors.

June 2-7: The American Pavilion's esteemed Worldwide Student Program, now in its 36th year, is expanding to include SXSW London alongside its established presence at the Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and SXSW in Austin. This year, a select group of emerging student talents from the U.S. and abroad, representing the next generation of the media industry, will immerse themselves in the festival's "BEAUTIFUL COLLISIONS" theme. Participants will enjoy access to the festival's official programming and take part in exclusive daily roundtables curated by The American Pavilion.

June 3: Luminate presents a featured session titled "Understanding Entertainment Trends Through Data," at the Shoreditch Electric Stage. Join Rob Jonas, CEO of Luminate, the entertainment industry's most trusted data and research partner, as he walks through today's top music, film and television trends, anchored by expert-level analysis. Driven by Luminate's industry-leading data, which fuels both the iconic Billboard music charts and Variety's streaming viewership charts, this session will provide an essential view of the entertainment ecosystem – from global music streaming trends and in-depth "super fan" findings, to film and television streaming measurements and genre shifts – leaving audiences with a deeper understanding of the way things are moving forward in Hollywood and beyond.

June 3: In an entertainment landscape no longer defined by geography, the Golden Globes will host two panels celebrating the rise of filmmakers and producers reshaping the cinematic landscape outside the Hollywood system. As streaming platforms expand global access and audiences embrace diverse storytelling, a new generation of creators is gaining international recognition. These conversations will explore how emerging voices are breaking through, how regional industries are thriving, and how to position global work for awards consideration - including the Golden Globes.

June 4-5: Rolling Stone's Future of Music UK will be a special two-night, underground showcase featuring the buzziest UK-based artists who are shaping the next generation of music. The showcase will take place on June 4 and June 5, 2025 at the historic Hoxton Hall in Shoreditch, London. Headlining performances will feature the high-energy English punk-pop rock band The K's and the UK-based, Afro-Caribbean-inspired indie pop trio Cassia.

June 4: Artforum brings its new Artforum Atelier series of live panel discussions with the biggest names in the art world to London's Christ Church Spitalfields. Moderated by the magazine's Editor in Chief Dr. Tina Rivers Ryan—one of the leading experts in the field of art and technology—"Digital Art on Display" will address the exciting work that museums are doing to display, collect, and conserve digital art. Panelists include Valentina Ravaglia, curator of the exhibition "Electric Dreams: Art and Technology Before the Internet" (closing at London's Tate Modern June 1); Michelle Cotton, curator of the exhibition "Radical Software: Women, Art & Computing 1960—1991" (closing at Kunsthalle Wien May 25); and Melanie Lenz, Curator of Digital Art at the V&A South Kensington and co-editor of the 2024 book Digital Art: 1960s to Now.

The sold-out show will take place on Thursday, June 5 at the legendary Troxy in Shoreditch, London.
