PGTV: DEYAZ and Baby Queen

PGTV: the brand new, music zeitgeist live stream show for the next generation of music lovers, brought to you from the team behind Pure Groove Records and Locked On Recordings, are premiering an exclusive performance video from Baby Queen and her hit single ‘Want Me’. Tune in to watch it here at 6pm on Friday 8th July.

The show, which is put on by a team made up entirely of female and LGBTQ+ people, shines a light on young creatives, celebrating identity and self-expression through music, art and culture - PGTV is here to fill a serious void in music television formats.

Produced by Pulse Films and hosted by it girl Simone Murphy, the first two episodes feature the inimitable Baby Queen and East London musician/producer Deyaz. The artists performed their new releases in an immersive garden of dreams - think Top Of The Pops but if Dali designed the set, and Gen Z was in charge of the guest list. You can watch the episodes back, including interview footage, here.

About Baby Queen:

Bella Latham, known professionally as Baby Queen, is a British singer based in London. She adopted the moniker Baby Queen to write about the whirlwind life of Instagram influencers and fashion parties she found herself immersed in when she moved to London from South Africa as a teenager. Baby‎ Queen makes grunge-pop for a disaffected Gen Z, tackling issues like internet addiction and mental health head-on with incisive satire.

About Deyaz:

A multi-disciplinary artist, London based Deyaz spent his youth immersed in the UK underground scene, drumming in punk bands and producing rap records along the way. His sound is a unique amalgam; emotive lyrics, soaring topline melodies, complex harmonies and full band arrangements, usually underpinned by an acoustic guitar. He’ll be releasing his debut mixtape later this year.
