Ostereo increasing investment and infrastructure in core areas

Ostereo, the UK-based music label and publishing company, has announced a company restructure allowing the business to focus its investment and infrastructure on master and publishing rights. The move will see changes to other aspects of the business, such as a fresh recruitment push, a step back from its activity as a management agency and other changes.

The move by Ostereo means that the company will now place more investment into its artist projects signed to its record label, as well as allowing more opportunities to sign new talent. The internationally-facing label is seeing significant growth from its artists and partners in developing music markets worldwide as it prepares for a string of original release campaigns. The publishing arm of the company will also see a boost in support whereby writers, producers and composers will benefit from increased resources, investment and a focus placed on this area. For example, Ostereo will continue to develop further events such as its Song Circle series of songwriting camps which bring together world-class writing talent to pen hits for prominent artists. 

As a consequence of the restructure, the management division will be rolled up, with Ostereo supporting its roster through this transition. The changes at Ostereo will also see the music firm actively recruit to expand its team into these new core areas in the coming months.
