Nemat Abdela launches 'Noted.': A full-service marketing agency dedicated to putting artists and music first



We are proud to announce the launch of 'NOTED.,' a brand new full-service marketing agency, the brainchild of Nemat Abdela, that will provide innovative and results-driven marketing solutions to artists in the music industry. Nemat’s approach puts the artist and music first, focusing on developing a custom offering based on the artist's needs, label and/or brand. The agency offers consultancy services, campaign management, marketing,  team management, creative commissioning (artwork, press shots, social assets), release setup, and DSP pitching. 

The Eritrean-born, British Executive started her career managing the 3MusicStore, which received a Music Week Award for Best Digital Music Service, before moving to VidZone Digital Media. She launched the Vizone music video streaming service on PlayStations in 11 markets globally and put on the first-ever pay-per-view concert on PlayStation3 with Dance act Faithless. 

With over 15 years of experience working with British and global artists, Nemat's track record speaks for itself. As Head of Marketing Since ‘93, she spearheaded the groundbreaking marketing campaign for Cat Burns whose double platinum selling single ‘Go’ is shortlisted for Music Week’s Marketing Campaign Of The Year. Cat Burns was the most nominated female artist at this year’s BRIT Awards and is the biggest-selling female artist of 2022, and had the fourth biggest single the same year. 

Additionally, at the Sony Music Label, she was responsible for - Grammy and Oscar-nominated Tems - emerging as Africa’s next global superstar after making the 2022 BBC Sound Poll list, performing sold-out UK shows at Lafeytte, Koko, Somerset House, and Glastonbury and gracing covers of multiple magazines ahead of releasing her debut album. She also worked Fredo, Khamari, Mette, Loski, and more. 

Before this, Nemat was Senior Marketing Manager at Columbia Records, where she worked on  Childish Gambino’s internet-breaking “This is America”. She consistently delivered successful marketing campaigns that propelled artist careers to new heights, including DigDat, whose debut mixtape ‘Ei8ht Mile’ achieved the UK’s biggest opening week for a Drill album at the time, outselling the two biggest drill releases that year and US breakthrough Dominic Fike who stormed the UK charts with his single ‘3 Nights’ peaking at #3 and selling over 1.6  million singles. While at Columbia Records, Nemat delivered over 15M singles and 500,000 album sales across a diverse roster.
