Mouth Culture sign publishing deal with Notting Hill Music
20 January 2026 - Press releaseFast-rising Leicester alt-rock outfit Mouth Culture are pleased to announce they’ve signed their publishing with Notting Hill Music. The band have been making waves across the UK and beyond with their undeniable melody and musicianship, which hits hard in a live setting. Mouth Culture have incited many a moshpit frenzy playing the likes of Reading & Leeds, Download, Slam Dunk and The Great Escape Festivals to gleefully rapt audiences and praiseful critiques. Kerrang! noted they have “the sort of supercharged intensity that makes a band stand out from the pack.” NME named them a must-see at Reading & Leeds Festival and said they “...already have stadium-rock ballads, sharp commentary on masculinity, and mosh pit mayhem.” Rock Sound excitedly proclaimed “The rise and rise of Mouth Culture, from the UK underground's best-kept secret to genuine scene contenders, continues to be a joy to behold.”
Mouth Culture have proven their songwriting prowess too with recent tracks like ‘Ratbag’ and ‘Picking Wings Off a Butterfly’ achieving airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio. Set-staple, crowd-rousing tracks such as ‘Don’t Pull Up’ and ‘Everyday’ further display the band’s diversity and nimbleness within the alternative rock sphere. As Mouth Culture’s momentum builds, it’s no surprise that powerhouse music publisher Notting Hill Music were keen and ready to step in and take things even further.
“Rosie first got in touch about Mouth Culture and asked if I’d check them out in Wolverhampton,” says Notting Hill Music A&R Roy Davis. “They completely blew me away. I saw them again at Reading and that confirmed it — this was a band we had to sign. I met the guys after the show and that sealed it. I’m incredibly proud to be involved in their journey.”
“I’d already heard great things about Mouth Culture from Roy, but seeing them live for myself in Brighton and London completely reaffirmed it,” Notting Hill Music Group COO Leo Huntington-Whiteley adds. “You could feel the excitement around the band growing each time. Huge thanks to their lawyer Pete Bott at Blacks for helping make this happen, and to Rosie and the band for showing the faith — we’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead.”
Mouth Culture’s manager Rosie Jennings-Helyer says: “The band’s rise has been driven by great songs and genuine audience connection, and Roy and Leo immediately understood that potential. The band are right on the cusp of something special and this deal marks a defining moment in their journey. Partnering with Notting Hill Publishing at this stage allows us to build on the growing buzz around them and give their music the platform it deserves.”
The band enthuse: “Signing with Notting Hill feels like a real full-circle moment for us. Mouth Culture has always felt like an authentic representation of us as mates and as people. It’s always about the songs first - the words, the feeling it gives you, the intent behind them - and it means a lot to partner with a team that genuinely understands that. We’ve spent years building our identity through writing, experimenting, and trusting our instincts, so to have that recognised at this level feels incredibly validating. We’re excited to grow with Notting Hill and see where these songs can go next!”
