Mother Artists appoint Sarah Besnard
04 September 2025 - Press release
Mother Artists are currently in the middle of an exemplary year which has delivered new live career peaks for artists including CMAT, IDLES (Management & Live), King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard and Amy Macdonald. Building on those achievements, the artist management and live agency - founded by siblings Natasha Gregory and Mark Bent - look towards the future as they appoint Sarah Besnard as a booker. She will be working alongside Natasha Gregory on her roster of artists and will become an integral part of the live booking wider team.
Sarah Besnard has established a highly respected reputation as an agent following her time at agencies such as Earth Agency and ATC Live. Her keen eye for talent and dedication to artist development has previously helped a diverse roster of artists flourish, including Fontaines DC, TOPS, Gilla Band and PVA. She returns to the music industry freshly motivated after spending the previous three-and-a-half years raising her daughter.
Natasha Gregory says, “We are so happy to have Sarah join the team. She’s kind, incredibly well respected, a great mum with her priorities and values in order and is fiercely good at what she does. Hard work and discipline are a given to be great in this industry, but it’s the strength in character and core values that will continue to build the business at Mother Artists and I for one am looking forward to learning from Sarah and supporting our clients in the best way we can.”
Sarah Besnard adds, “I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining the team at Mother Artists. The agency stands out for its commitment to supporting parents, women and people that want to navigate their careers and personal lives. This mission resonates deeply with me, especially after taking time to focus on being a new mum. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to work with such an incredible roster of artists and feel privileged to bring my experience to help elevate their careers.”
Winners of Booking Agency of the Year at the 2024 Live Awards, Mother Artists have continued to exceed that high standard throughout 2025. The phenomenal rise of CMAT has been their biggest triumph this year, having sold-out her entire UK and Ireland headline tour and attracted one of the biggest main stage crowds in Greenman history. Currently flying high in the midweeks with her new album ‘Euro-Country’, there’s much more to come in 2026 too, led by Alexandra Palace and huge outdoor shows in Dublin and Cork.
Elsewhere, Mother Artists have guided King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard through a year of innovative live experiences, taking in three-night residencies at historic locations across Europe, with orchestra collaboration shows on the calendar (including a sold-out Royal Albert Hall show) as well as international rock shows and rave sets. IDLES recently made a triumphant homecoming with two Block Party shows in Bristol - the first live events in Queen Square for twenty years. Meanwhile, Amy Macdonald will close this year by playing to over 28,000 fans across two nights at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro before embarking upon a sold-out European headline tour in February.
This year has also seen Mother Artists achieve much more on the live front with The Teskey Brothers, RY X, Foster The People and Bombay Bicycle Club, while also developing next wave artists in the shape of The Pill, julie, Clothes Line From Hell, Blair Davie and Zinadelphia.
