Mike Herbrik appointed General Manager, Warner Music Norway

Mike Herbrik has been appointed as General Manager of Warner Music Norway.  He will take up the role immediately and report to Jonas Siljemark, President, Warner Music Nordics.

Herbrik has been part of the team at Warner Music Norway since 2014, serving most recently as A&R Director.  He works closely with the label’s artists including Julie Bergan, Kristian Kristensen, Emilie Nicolas, Madden, and Fay Wildhagen.

Jonas Siljemark adds: “Mike is an incredible talent who has won the trust and confidence of our local artists in Norway over the last few years as he’s headed up our A&R operations in Oslo.  He’s a forward thinking executive who is well placed to grow our business in the years ahead.”

Herbrik began his career in the music industry in 2009 when he worked in Brand Partnerships and Marketing for Roadrunner Records, a leading hard rock label owned by Warner Music Group.  While there, he worked with artists including Slash and Slipknot.

In 2011, he joined Coca-Cola to act as Music Manager on the company’s London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic project team.  In this role, he managed Coca-Cola’s Olympic torch relay music strategy, including the Torch Relay Finale in London’s Hyde Park.

In 2014, Herbrik joined Warner Music Norway as A&R Manager, becoming A&R Director the following year.
