Khalid, The O2 Arena
Global R&B singer-songwriter sensation Khalid invites you inside this impressive production, live from The O2 Arena. Energetic dancers, incredible musicians and good vibes only on this stage.
Khalid said "My fans are the most important thing to me, so I'm really excited that MelodyVR will be playing my O2 show in virtual reality and I can share that up close experience with you guys all over the world."
The O2 appearance, in September, followed the release of Khalid's highly anticipated second album Free Spirit. His headlining of the venue was another remarkable milestone for the five-time Grammy Award nominee and one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2019.
Khalid catapulted into massive worldwide success when he released his first single "Location" right before his high school graduation. The song's domination led to a major label deal with Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records, followed by the release of his debut album, the double platinum certified American Teen. The album received mass critical acclaim with Rolling Stone calling Khalid a "pop prodigy" and Time Magazine stating "His thoughtful, relatable reflections on modern youth culture and the limitations of love are just as pitch-perfect as his soulful, measured delivery."
Khalid has collaborated with some of today's biggest stars including Normani, Halsey and Benny Blanco, Calvin Harris, Logic and Alessia Cara, Marshmello, Billie Eilish and Shawn Mendes.
Gunna, Wireless Festival 2019
Energy crew: assemble. Get yourself on stage with The King of Drip, Gunna, as the American rap star wows the Wireless Festival 2019 crowd.
Georgia-based Gunna is one of the fastest-rising rap artists of recent years. His instantly recognisable laid back style washes over his 2016 entry on Young Thug's 'Floyd Mayweather', his Drip mixtapes and the Lil Baby collaboration Drip Harder. After hitting the pop Top Ten with the latter, Gunna's long awaited debut album, Drip or Drown 2, was released in 2019, entering the Billboard 200 at number three.
Future, Wireless Festival 2019
Bust onto stage with Atlanta rapper, Future. Stand next to him as he performs 'Mask Of', or party with his entourage side of stage as the London festival audience goes wild.
Known for his fluid and melodic vocal style, Future is responsible for mixtapes, high-charting albums (Pluto, Honest, DS2, Evol, Future, Hndrxx, The Wizrd), certified platinum singles, and contributions to several other hits as a featured artist. Future very quickly became a key figure in Atlanta's grip on the Billboard charts and by the end of 2017 had amassed 32 Top Ten R&B/hip-hop hits as a headliner and featured artist. Meanwhile, 11 full-length projects debuted within the Top Five of the Billboard 200. In 2018, Future added to his Top 20 tally with the Grammy-winning 'King's Dead' from the soundtrack to Black Panther, and co-produced Superfly, curating its soundtrack.
