The London and Los Angeles based creative, marketing and digital agency Blackstar continues its rapid growth, welcoming Ben Tipple (Ticketmaster / Live Nation) as their new Content Strategist, overseeing the in-house creative team and content production.
Ben says: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the opportunity to lead Blackstar’s brilliant creative team and to direct creative across multiple verticals within a company who focus not only on the world’s most exciting artists, but place importance on the world around them through environmental and social impact.”
Blackstar was founded by marketing exec Olivia Hobbs in January 2018 and has since proven itself to be an innovative and forward-thinking agency, providing a wide range of artists (e.g. Rage Against The Machine, Ashniko, Sigur Ros, Becky Hill, Sam Wills, Alfie Templeman, Raye, Georgia & more) and labels with attention-grabbing activations across their service range, including campaign management, social media planning, digital marketing and creative commissioning. Blackstar have also worked with Greenpeace for Glastonbury, Aim Awards 2020 and On Air Live to deliver innovative digital event architecture, streaming support and social.
The expansion of the agency has stepped up throughout 2020, welcoming a number of new faces across the UK and US business including Rae Levine, Tiago Matthias and Chey Noel in the London team, and specialists Yising Kao and Timmy Gruber in Los Angeles.
