KSI, Lianne La Havas, YONAKA, James Gillespie, Malik Harris and more to take part in “Amazon Music Sessions”



Amazon Music and Twitch partner to announce “Amazon Music Sessions” - a multi-week run of performances, Q&As, discography discussions and community interaction from a breadth of artists, Thursday evenings (6-8pm BST) on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel.

This Thursday (16th July), British singer/songwriter Lianne La Havas, blues and soul influenced singer/songwriter James Gillespie and German multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Malik Harris form the line-up for the weekly series for music fans, each performing and taking part in a Q&A. Artists confirmed to participate on Thursday 23rd July include rapper and YouTuber KSI and Brighton rock band YONAKA. Filmmaker and one half of comedy duo, Jack & Dean - Jack Howard will host many of the sessions.

For the latest programming, visit here. Music fans can enjoy a variety of content on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel - from the newly announced Thursday evening Amazon Music Sessions - to live music themed broadcasts and artist interviews from a range of global artists.

James Gillespie says: “I'm crazy excited to be takin part in Amazons Music Sessions...this is gonna be a wicked mix of gaming and music. Maybe at the same time?”

Jack Howard says:  “I’m so excited to be working with Twitch and the Amazon Music team. I think live performance is really important so it’s great to be able to create a show that keeps the spirit of it alive during this weird weird time.”

Twitch’s production partner for these sessions is esports entertainment company BLAST.
