!K7 acquires the catalogues of Patrice Rushen, Miriam Makeeba and The Beginning Of The End from Warner
17 October 2017 - Press release!K7 Music has acquired the back catalogues of Patrice Rushen (her classic Elektra recordings), Miriam Makeba (her Reprise repertoire) and The Beginning Of The End (their recordings for Alston).
The acquisition, part of the Parlophone divestment process agreed between Warner Music Group and Merlin/IMPALA, includes the following studio albums:

!K7 will be curating a long term series of projects involving these artists’ recordings via its own specialist in-house reissue label, Strut Records.
