Team Mumford & Sons to discuss live career at Futures Forum Keynote
Titans of the live business line up to speak at industry’s top event
Team Mumford & Sons and legendary artist manager Peter Rudge (the Rolling Stones, The Who, James) are announced as the two keynote interviews at this year’s International Live Music Conference (ILMC). And titans of the global live music business are lined up to speak across the most diverse agenda in the event’s 32-year history, which is now complete.
On Wednesday 4 March, it’s a super-manager double header as The Breakfast Meeting raconteur Ed Bicknell (Dire Straits) interview Peter Rudge. The recipient of over 260 gold and platinum albums, Rudge’s roster has included The Who, the Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Duran Duran, Madness, Ray Davies, Anastacia, James, Imelda May and Ball & Boe.
And on Friday 6 March, Team Mumford & Sons will be interviewed by Radio X DJ John Kennedy. The keynote is the finale of Futures Forum, the final day of ILMC programmed by and for young industry executives. Founding band member and venue owner Ben Lovett will be joined by Adam Tudhope (Everybody’s), and booking agent Lucy Dickins (WME) to reflect on Mumfords’ journey from banjo-plucking west London folkies to global superstars.
Elsewhere across the ILMC conference schedule, guest speakers include CAA co-head Emma Banks, UTA’s head of global music David Zedeck, Live Nation’s executive president of international touring Phil Bowdery and SVP Marketing Jackie Wilgar, Book My Show CEO Ashish Hemrajani, AEG President & CEO Alex Hill, Oak View Group co-chair Jessica Koravos & O2’s head of sponsorship Gareth Griffiths.
