Insomniac has signed a long-term exclusive worldwide music publishing partnership in connection with its record label umbrella Insomniac Music Group, with the worldwide indie music publisher CTM Publishing.

Insomniac, the world’s largest dance music promotor—best known for its flagship Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) music festival in Las Vegas—has signed a long-term exclusive worldwide music publishing partnership in connection with its record label umbrella Insomniac Music Group, with the worldwide indie music publisher CTM Publishing. Major new releases are planned, for which music publishing rights signings will be announced via this new partnership that will operate under the name of Sounds That Never Sleep Publishing. 

Since delving into the record label business in 2014 via their eponymous imprint, Insomniac Records has cemented itself as a prominent player in the industry with an ever evolving catalog that has welcomed world renowned artists from the likes of Chris Lake, Dombresky, Habstrakt, Redlight and more. In addition to having over 200+ track releases under its belt, Insomniac Records has also curated a premier annual EDC compilation series, featuring four EDC Las Vegas and one EDC Mexico master soundtracks containing standout track selections pulled straight from the festival’s massive line-ups. 

In 2018, Insomniac Records extended its scope outside of the standard record label model with the launch of Insomniac Music Group, a multi-faceted operation that allowed them to connect the dots between various areas of the music industry. Outside of its existing network of labels—which includes internal brand imprints such as HARD Recs, Bassrush Records, IN / ROTATION, Dreamstate Records and Discovery Project, they have also partnered up with select artists to drive artist-centric labels, such as NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations, Fisher’s Catch & Release, Justin Martin’s What To Do, and Will Clarke’s All We Have Is Now. One of Insomniac’s most notable achievements is the Grammy Nomination they received for Fisher’s chart-topping success, “Losing It.” Now, with the launch of this new publishing endeavour, Insomniac Music Group is positioning itself as a one-stop destination within the dance music space.
