IAFAR announces panels for the world’s first conference on Neighbouring Rights

The UK’s leading educator in Neighbouring Rights, IAFAR, will host the first ever dedicated Neighbouring Rights conference in London over the 21st and 22nd of June. This event will feature a number of executives and experts from across the globe. The focus is on educating musicians, managers, lawyers, accountants and rights holders alike on all areas of Neighbouring Rights in the music industry.

The IAFAR conference will consist of several panels covering a range of topics, with prominent faces in the industry speaking about key issues within this income stream.

Speaking on behalf of the collection management organisations (CMOs) there will be a Q&A panel with reps from SoundExchange, PPL, AIE, RAAP, Abramus, and ARTISTI amongst others. This is the first and possibly only chance musicians will get to speak to these societies directly. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Other panels at the IAFAR conference will include a segment on the Importance of Metadata, Dispelling the Myths for Producers, Neighbouring Rights 101, and a chance to have One to One sessions with IAFAR board members.

Tickets for the event can be found here.
