Howie Payne Launches 235 Music Publishing

235 Music Publishing is the new venture founded by singer-songwriter Howie Payne. 235 aims to combine a modern approach to music publishing with a focus on old school creative A&R. With a creative team lead by Sam Winwood (ex-Kobalt SVP Creative), 235 will sign, nurture, and provide a supportive and inspiring environment for the best songwriters while providing them with bespoke collaborative partnerships and innovative opportunities for their music to thrive in the current and future musical landscape.   

The company launches with an impressive collection of talent; Gabriella Cilmi and her brother songwriter/producer Joseph Cilmi, Bess Atwell, whose debut album was released in October last year, picking up 6Music playlist support for all 4 singles and Jamie Biles, who has been busy writing with Miles Kane for his new album ‘Change the Show’ including the Radio 2 playlisted single ‘Nothing's Ever Gonna Be Good Enough’ featuring Corinne Bailey Rae. The growing roster is completed with up-and-coming talents Sam Dotia and recent New York based Cascine Records signing Rue Delaney. 235 Music Publishing will also represent all publishing concerns for Howie Payne, including his work with Liverpool group The Stands.
