Growing indie Minds On Fire signs admin deal with Sony Music Publishing and Exclusive Writer deal with Jay Gilbert

Minds On Fire today announced a new partnership with Sony Music Publishing (SMP), the world’s leading music publisher, which will provide worldwide administration services for Minds On Fire’s acclaimed catalogue and roster of songwriters and producers. 

Minds On Fire’s roster includes Rob Harvey’s catalogue (featuring songs by Clean Bandit, Joel Corry, David Guetta and Becky Hill), writer Tom Havelock, and a diverse line-up of pioneering electronic artists including Kolter, Obskür, Joe Ashworth, Objekt, Alan Fitzpatrick, Carlita, Sasha, and the New Young Pony Club catalogue. 

The agreement includes a joint venture to partner on new writer deals.

Adding to a busy month for the company, Minds On Fire has also signed writer/producer Jay Gilbert to an Exclusive Writer deal. Gilbert is a frequent collaborator with KILIMANJARO, co-writing the 2024 hit “No Bad Vibes” with Jazzy (36 weeks in the UK chart). He has also worked with THEMBA, Massh, Kitty Amor, Ankhoi, Eljé, Issey Cross, Nicole Blakk, and many others.
