Global new music pre-discovery comes to Nevada, Australia, Holland, Philippines, Africa & The Caribbean

One of Australia's largest national commercial radio networks Triple MMM Radio has begun broadcasting the influential global pre-discovery music program Passport Approved on its Triple MMM Modern Rock Digital network across several markets in Australia including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. The two-hour weekly program will run two times a week and bring the Australian radio audience a smorgasbord of ground-breaking, undiscovered music from alternative music artists spanning the globe.

Passport Approved has also confirmed that it will start broadcasting this week on alternative Jam 88.3 FM (Metro Manila, Philippines); ZFM 96.2FM in Holland; RadioWAVE 96.7FM (the largest commercial radio station broadcasting across Namibia in SouthWest Africa); Radio Amistad (Santiago, Dominican Republic in the Caribbean) and Wave FM 94.5FM in St Lucia (also in the Caribbean). The program also recently started broadcasting across Nevada on the officially monitored KVNV “NV89” (Nevada Public Radio Reno).

Passport Approved first launched on the late and acclaimed Indie 1031.FM Los Angeles back in 2004 and quickly became a highly-respected new music program that helped give artists such as Adele, Lily Allen, Wolfmother, Lorde, KONGOS, Sheppard, Tove Lo, Arctic Monkeys, The Temper Trap and Teddybears, as well as hundreds of others, some of their earliest radio support in the world outside of a handful of respective plays in their local market.

The show is the brainchild of its host and music director Sat Bisla who got his start in radio back in 1984 and has consistently played ground-breaking, new international alternative music on every radio station he's ever broadcast on for the past 30 years including KCRW Los Angeles and the late KKDJ "The Edge" in Central California. Besides breaking new artists into the U.S., Sat Bisla has also had special weekly contributions on Passport Approved from his fellow global DJ friends over the years including: DJ Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1 UK), Thomas Mueller (Flux FM Germany), DJ Karen Hay (Kiwi-FM New Zealand), DJs John Kennedy and Jim Gellatly (Xfm, UK) and Byron Cooke (formerly at SCA Radio Australia) and currently has weekly rotating contributions from Mike Walsh (Radio X, UK), Ueli Hafliger (Flux FM, Germany), Vic Galloway (BBC Radio Scotland), Dan Hegarty (Radio RTE/2XM, Ireland) and Alex Behan (Radio New Zealand).

Passport Approved's weekly program currently broadcasts on radio stations in six continents worldwide including: “The World Famous” KROQ-FM Los Angeles, KNDD-FM Seattle, KNRK-FM Portland OR, WLKK-FM Buffalo NY, KKDO-FM Sacrameto, KHTB Salt Lake City UT, KBZT-FM San Diego, Saavn across India, KFRR-FM Fresno CA, Flux-FM Germany, East Radio-FM Shanghai China, Radio Doble Nueve-FM Peru, Puk-FM South Africa, 2XM Ireland and many others (currently in over 70 markets worldwide).
