Funnel Music launches crowdfunding initiative



£250,000 Already Raised Towards £400,000 Target


Funnel Music, which is taking a groundbreaking approach  to artist development and campaign management, has announced a new initiative that aims to raise significant contributions towards the company’s future growth strategy. 

Following several successful investment rounds Funnel Music is now using the equity investment specialists Crowdcube to crowdfund a further £400,000. This has already raised over £250,000 towards its target, and the company has now made the offering public,  giving investors a chance to participate in a 3.75% share of the company from as little as a £10 stake. 

Funnel Music was launched in 2016 by industry veterans Ric Yerbury and Alex Pilkington with the mission of developing a more transparent and fairer model within the music industry, supporting artist development and rewarding professionals across multiple revenues. 

The company has created a unique global ecosystem called ‘The Funnel’, which takes a groundbreaking approach to the creation, development & marketing of music using artist partnership initiatives such as its ‘Shared Outcome Agreement,’ which aims to reduce upfront risk and costs in the development of artists in return for a fairer distribution of profits.

The Funnel brings artists, labels and communities of professionals together and allows strong creative teams to be built and campaigns to be executed professionally, efficiently and transparently. 

Funnel Music has already worked with multiple artists through its in-house label and third- party label partnerships and is building an internationally recognised team of industry professionals with expertise in music, technology and brands. 

The company’s senior leadership team already includes CEO Tim Delaney who has decades of experience working at working at major record labels in the US, UK, Australia & Asia. He has also held senior roles at Live Nation with Maverick as part of U2’s management team. It also includes former Association of Independent Music (AIM) and Worldwide Independent Network CEO Alison Wenham , former CEO of Liverpool FC and The Premier League Rick Parry and former President of Sony International Rick Dobbis.
