Fraser T. Smith to be honoured with the BMI President’s Award at the 2025 BMI London Awards

BMI® is thrilled to be celebrating its top UK and European songwriters and publishers at the 2025 BMI London Awards held on 29th September at The Dorchester in London. Multiple-award-winning producer, songwriter and musician Fraser T. Smith will be honoured with the BMI President’s Award in celebration of his career-defining work and collaborations with some of the biggest artists in the world, such as Adele, Drake, Sam Smith, Snow Patrol and more. The private event will be hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O’Neill and EVP, Chief Revenue & Creative Officer Mike Steinberg.
The ceremony also pays tribute to the UK and European songwriters and publishers of the most-performed songs on US streaming, radio, film, television and visual media from BMI’s repertoire of over 22.4 million musical works. The Million-Air Awards, Song of the Year, and awards for Pop, Film, Television and Cable Television Music will also be presented throughout the evening.
In addition to Fraser T. Smith, some of the expected attendees include:
- Kae Tempest: Mercury Prize, Ivor Novello Awards, and a BRIT award-winning singer/songwriter. Tempest collaborated with Fraser T Smith on their fifth studio album, Self-Titled, which has received universal acclaim.
- Kwn: East London R&B artist who has surpassed 100 million streams for hit songs such as “worst behaviour,” “do what I say,” and her latest, “back of the club,” which has over 10 million streams on Spotify since its release over the summer.
- A.G. Cook: 2025 GRAMMY-winning producer Year for BRAT by Charli XCX and 2025 BRIT Award Producer of the Year.
- Hoskins: British producer who has worked with Khalid, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Teezo Touchdown, Don Toliver, Wiz Khalifa and Morgan Wallen, to name a few.
- Ina Wroldsen: Award-winning Norwegian songwriter who co-wrote several global chart-topping songs for Clean Bandit, including "Rockabye" and "Symphony." Other writing credits include collaborations with major artists like Britney Spears, Little Mix, Calvin Harris, and Kylie Minogue for co-writing “Padam Padam.”
- Finn Keane: Producer/songwriter on BRAT by Charli XCX.
- Tom Howe: British composer and musician who composed for shows like The Great British Bake Off, Knuckles, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, and films like Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings, Wonder Woman, Mulan.
- Per Geselle: Swedish singer/songwriter, guitarist and founding member of Roxette.
- Atli Orvarsson: American Icelandic BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated composer for shows such as Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., FBI, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, SILO and more.
- Trevor Horn: BRIT, IVOR and GRAMMY award-winning producer and songwriter for the likes of Seal, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Grace Jones, LeAnn Rimes and Belle and Sebastian, and many more. Former member of the Buggles and Yes.
- Jordan Adetunji: Rising UK rapper/singer/songwriter behind 2024’s breakout hit "KEHLANI," which earned him a GRAMMY nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
- Kamille: Songwriter, producer and artist, whose credits have contributed to over 4 billion streams, 5 UK#1 singles, 10 UK #1 albums, 17 Top 10 singles, 24 Top 10 albums, and she has a BRIT Award for co-writing “Shout Out To My Ex” by Little Mix.
- Jin Jin: Award-winning songwriter behind hits such as “Between Us” by Little Mix, “Pa’ Ti” by Jennifer Lopez x Maluma, “My Man” by Becky G and “Your Name Hurt” by Hailee Steinfeld. She’s also written songs for Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Madison Beer, RAYE and Paloma Faith, among others.
