Former Warner Music MD Middle East, Moe Hamzeh, to Lead New Arabic, Regional Music & Talent Development Division at MDL Beast



MDLBEAST is thrilled to announce the appointment of Moe Hamzeh to its team as the Executive Director of a new division to oversee Arabic and regional GCC Music and Talent. He will lead various deals, including master rights, 180, and 360 deals. This division will focus on MENA & Arabic artists across genres through functions such as A&R of talent and artist development while aligning with other MDLBEAST divisions for bookings, record label, publishing, label services, and commercial development.

Hamzeh brings over 25 years of experience in the music and cultural business, multimedia, digital entertainment, and retail across the MENA region. He is a veteran of artist development and rights management and has an unparalleled passion for music.

Previously, Hamzeh served as the Managing Director of Warner Music Middle East from 2018 to 2022, where he helped establish and manage the Warner Music affiliate in the MENA region. In his role, he expanded WM's presence, promoted international artists, and nurtured a roster of Arabic artists and repertoire in the region.

Hamzeh's career began in 1998 as a Label Manager with Warner Music's regional licensee, Music Master. He later founded Temple Entertainment, an independent label and publishing company, before working for Virgin Megastores as a Product Marketing Manager. In 2008, he joined Melody Music Group as a General Manager, and in 2012, he became the Head of Content for M.Media, a V.O.D platform for Lebanese and regional movies, documentaries, and series, where he was responsible for original productions and licensing.
