FastForward kicks off 2019 plans with speakers for FastForward: Amsterdam, and dates for FastForward: Sydney

FastForward announces it will kick off 2019 in style - once again - with the return of its flagship music industry conference at the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam for its fourth consecutive year.

The first wave of speakers for the two day boutique event has just been released, wth an already stellar lineup featuring the likes of International Songwriters Mac and Phil (Hurts, Emeli Sande, Bloodstream, Chainsmokers), Jazz Sherman (Manager, Anne-Marie and recently named Artist Manager of The Year at the Artist & Manager Awards) and Catherine Luckhoff (CEO Nichestreem, South Africa).

Following the success of the artist-led panels at FastForward London in September, featuring the likes of MNEK and Sarah Close, FastForward Amsterdam are pleased to announce that London-based artist Jake Isaac will be leading a keynote conversation with songwriting duo Mac & Phil (Emeli Sande, Chainsmokers, .

Whilst the official topics for the conference will be announced soon, Chris Carey, Founder & CEO of FastForward, promises topics that evoke the same insightful, boundary-pushing and thought provoking discussions that regular attendees have now come to expect.

In a recent interview with The Industry Observer (Australia), Carey hinted towards the content:

FastForward Amsterdam aims to bring together all corners of the music industry. In Amsterdam there will be panels on the future of vinyl (is it growing or declining?), the future of boutique festivals, staying healthy on the road, the role of playlists, and many more.”

AWAL will be continuing their global partnership with FastForward, alongside a host of familiar, returning event sponsors.  Soundcharts join as global partners, covering all 2019 events across Amsterdam, Sydney and London. Long term supporter AIM (Association of Independent Music) and Media Insight Consulting each all extend their support to the future generation of music industry thinkers and leaders.
