Fast-growing Music Industry Challenger Amuse Appoints Steeve Fuhr as New CFO



 

Global digital music distribution company Amuse announces the appointment of Steeve Führ as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In recent years, Amuse has cemented its position as a powerful alternative to traditional record labels, offering a smart and flexible model that empowers artists to not only start independent careers, but stay independent as they grow. Joining Amuse following years of strong growth, Steeve brings extensive experience in financial leadership at global scaleups, most recently serving as CFO at Benify.

Before joining Amuse in June 2025, Steeve Führ built an impressive track record in financial leadership across the tech and entertainment industries. He spent six years as CFO at employee benefits platform Benify, where he played a key role in scaling the company internationally, culminating in a successful sale to Apax Partners andZellis Group. Prior to that, his experience includes IPOs and a range of senior roles, CFO at streaming technology company Edgeware and senior finance positions at Apple Nordics. He’s also an avid guitar player and band member, joining an Executive Team at Amuse with several musicians.

Steeve joins Amuse following several years of financial growth for the company. During the past year, Amuse has launched a series of initiatives to further strengthen its offering towards the fast growing sector of independent artists and teams - including a refreshed set of self-service digital distribution plans empowering creatives at every stage of their career. In his new role, Steeve will support the executive team in further scaling the business globally, with a focus on operational excellence, financial discipline, and sustainable expansion.

Hundreds of thousands of artists and teams globally distribute their music through Amuse today, while over 400 artists have tailored support from the company’s Artist & Label Services division, including successful indie acts such as Yot Club, Emei, The Walters, Deki Alem, Djezja and 80purppp.

  • 28 licensed platinum certifications across the US, Canada and the UK.
