F1 DRIVE - London hosts Live Nation's inaugural Music Therapy Grand Prix, in aid of Nordoff and Robbins

The newly opened F1 DRIVE - London experience proudly hosted Live Nation's inaugural Music Therapy Grand Prix™ at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night, in support of Nordoff and Robbins - the UK's largest music therapy charity.

The Music Therapy Grand Prix™ featured twelve powerhouse teams from the music industry, including giants such as Live Nation, Wasserman and Ticketmaster, who took to the karting track to tussle for the top spot in this debut event. An epic battle ensued, but it was Solo that claimed victory in this clash of the music titans, raising £55,720 for charity. The star-studded event also welcomed esteemed celebrity guests, including Mark King of Level 42, and JAY1.

John Giddings, Live Nation European Tour Co-ordinator, who created the concept for the event said: "Music is such an important tool for healing and empowerment, and we are proud to support the invaluable work of Nordoff and Robbins through this unique event. I would like to thank the participating teams for their generous donations, and F1 DRIVE - London and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their unmatched hospitality and first-class facilities. This was a day to remember, and it will pave the way for events in the future."

Phil Bowdery, President of International Touring at Live Nation, added: "The music industry is incredibly powerful when we all come together. Events like this truly make a difference. We're grateful for everyone that took the time to attend the Music Therapy Grand Prix™ at the brand new, state-of-the-art F1 DRIVE - London, and for everyone involved behind the scenes, working tirelessly to make it happen."

The success of the inaugural Music Therapy Grand Prix™ underscores the unwavering commitment of Live Nation and its partners to support organisations like Nordoff and Robbins in its mission to harness the power of music for therapeutic causes.

The venue, F1 DRIVE – London, is the world's first official Formula 1 karting experience and is located below Tottenham Hotspur Stadium's South Stand. Opening its doors earlier this month, the attraction provides guests with an authentic Formula 1 driving experience that is unparalleled within karting. The track has already been frequented by celebrities searching for the ultimate thrill, including will.i.am.
