Deezer’s new embeddable “widget player” adds instant audio to any website

New web tool allows readers to directly favourite and share audio content

Deezer has launched its new online widget player for mobile websites and desktop. Whether you’re a website publisher, artist or just looking for a new way to share music - we’re making it easy for you to integrate audio into your online and social content. Our player has been revamped with brand new features and now you’ll be able to favourite and share anytracks, podcasts, playlists and albums.

Creators simply need to select their audio content and head to Deezer’s dedicated landing page to generate their ‘widget’. It only takes a few seconds. Here, they can paste in the content’s URL to create a quick embed code for any website or blog. The page also lets youadjust the size and background design of the embedded player.  You can also generate a widget automatically for any song, album, artist or publicly available playlist. If you use Deezer on the web, all you have to do is go to the “Share” menu and hit the button on the right.

Once the widget is embedded into the site or social post, readers can hear, share and favourite* any of the featured content. This includes songs, artists, playlists, albums or podcast episodes and series. You can share up to 30 seconds of music or a full track from a podcast.

“Whether you’re an artist promoting an album, or a die-hard music lover that wants to share an amazing track, our customised widgets are designed to help you get heard. All you need to follow is our simple three-step process to embed any widget of your choice. The only hard part is deciding what you want to share and preview,” said Nicolas Pinoteau, Director of Partnership Solutions at Deezer.

Deezer’s embeddable web player is live now and available worldwide. To start including the widget into your articles, blogs and posts, simply head to widget.deezer.com.
