Deezer takes K-Pop Global with new K-Pop channel



Deezer, the global music streaming service, is taking K-Pop music to new audiences with the launch of a brand new K-Pop Channel. The channel will provide a single global home for the hugely popular genre, including exclusive playlists from artists like iKON, Stray Kids and Day6.

South Korean boy band, iKON will provide fans on Deezer with an exclusive Hip Hop playlist filled with their own personal inspirations. iKON commented: “Get ready? Showtime! Hello, Deezer K-Pop Channel fans! This is iKON, thank you for listening to our music in the K-Pop channel. We love iKONIC! Enjoy our music!”

Deezer’s new channel will also feature editorial playlists focused on K-Pop and its subgenres. This includes K-Pop Classics, K-Pop Indie Chill and Top K-Pop. Fans looking for the very latest in the genre can head to K-Pop New Releases, while additional Japanese content will be available in Japanese K-Pop.

Fans can also access a selection of special ‘100%’ compilations featuring the very best tracks from the biggest talent of the genre, including global phenomenon, BTS. The ‘100%’ playlist series will feature Got7, TWICE, Wanna One, Monsta X and iKON.
