Deezer partners with Greencopper to bring festival lineup playlists to fans

Greencopper, the leading festival app provider, and Deezer, the global music streaming service, are building excitement ahead of this summer’s biggest festivals with instant access to performing artists’ playlists.

Greencopper creates mobile apps for over 325 dedicated festivals in 26 countries around the world. The apps provide attendees with information like festival schedules, maps, calendars and ticketing. Deezer’s unique music integration with Greencopper enables festivals to deepen the experience for music fans by offering playlists from its official lineup. This includes the likes of Booba at Vieilles Charrues, Two Door Cinema Club at Warm Up and Foals at Low Festival.

Fans can easily find artists within the dedicated ‘playlist’ section in each app. When opening the app, users are encouraged to sign into Deezer to listen to the full tracks. They can also enjoy 30 seconds without being logged in. Once each track begins, fans also have the option to turn the music player into full screen for an enhanced viewing experience.

Franziska Schwarz, VP of Strategic Partnerships of Deezer commented: “Fans can now get a head start listening to all their favorite artists ahead of this summer’s festivals. Now with Deezer’s integration with Greencopper they can experience full tracks, hand-picked by our global editors. Festival goers can find their event details while listening to some great music, all in one place!”

Frederic Monfet, Greencopper GM, added: “One of the best things about attending a music festival is discovering an artist that is new to you. With this integration, fans can use the Greencopper lineup or schedule to find an artist, then easily stream their new favorite tracks on Deezer. We are thrilled to partner with Deezer.”

Deezer is now available on a range of festival apps supported by Greencopper. To listen to your favorite artists or discover new music visit www.deezer.com.
