DARLING DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS ANNOUNCE NEW VENTURES

Dan Stevens, David Laub and Ed Cartwright announce the closure of Darling Department and the launch of their new music ventures. Bringing the curtain down on the music PR company in March, the directors have decided to dissolve the management division and close Darling after almost 20 years in business.

Dan Stevens and David Laub will continue to offer artist management and music consultancy services as First & Last Music. The boutique management roster includes singer / songwriter Natty, recent Sony signing Foxes and writer / producer Sam Frank as well as a number of new acts in development. First & Last's music consultancy services will focus on talent sourcing and management and music rights issues, and will look to build on recent successful work for Ray-Ban, Ralph Lauren and agencies including Fallon, My Beautiful City and Not Actual Size.

Ed Cartwright has started Tusk, a management company for electronic music with artists Jamie Jones, Hot Natured, Ali Love, Infinity Ink and Invisible Cities on the roster.

Tusk and First & Last will jointly manage Polydor signed Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
