Dan Chalmers joins YouTube as the Director of YouTube Music in EMEA
07 January 2020 - Press releaseYouTube today announced the hire of Dan Chalmers as Director of YouTube Music in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Dan will be responsible for running YouTube's Music business in EMEA and will report to the Head of YouTube in EMEA, Cécile Frot-Coutaz.
Dan Chalmers, incoming Director of YouTube Music in EMEA, said, "YouTube is the most powerful promotion platform on the planet and has become an integral part of the artist’s journey and narrative within the music industry. Dan will be joining YouTube from Warner Music, where he serves as the President ADA, East West, Rhino Records, Warner Music UK. He has over twenty years of music industry experience with deep artistic and business relationships that span the globe.
