Cool Thing Records Launch Soho Radio Show

Southend On Sea's eclectic DIY record label Cool Thing Records are pleased to announce 'Cool Thing Presents' – a fortnightly show on independent online radio station Soho Radio. 

Broadcasting from the heart of London and hosted by label founders Luke Branch and Michael Webster along with Jazz Miell and Hayley Hill, each show will feature a different guest currently working in the creative arts. 

On each show, Cool Thing's guests will discuss their creative process, routes into employment, the music industry and other fantastic stories. Discussions will be complimented by a selection of new and old tracks hand-picked by the label and their guests. 

The inaugural show kicking things off on March 18th will feature special guest – DJ, photographer and film maker Dean Chalkley. Show 2 sees Cool Thing chatting with author, presenter and former model Gail Porter - discussing her fascinating career to date.

Cool Thing Records is an independent record label and artist development hub based in Southend On Sea, Essex. Set up in August 2014 by Asylums' Luke Branch and Michael Webster, they've so far released music from BAIT, Beckie Margaret, The Horse Heads and Suspects. 2020 sees a packed release schedule from the label, with Indian Queens leading the charge.
