Concord Music Publishing extends agreement with Jeremy Lutito, signs Jon Class under new JV partnership

Today, Concord Music Publishing announced that they have extended and expanded their existing agreement with GRAMMY-nominated producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Lutito. This worldwide publishing deal, effective immediately, includes Lutito’s full catalog and all future works and launches a new joint venture partnership, Mezzanine, under which Lutito will sign, develop, and grow up-and-coming songwriters and producers at Concord.

As the first signing under this JV, Concord has also announced a new deal with Lutito’s frequent collaborator and rising producer/mixer/writer Jon Class. The worldwide publishing deal with Class will include his full catalog and all future works.

Brad Kennard, SVP A&R at Concord Music Publishing in Nashville states: “Jeremy has been an incredible partner and a successful writer and producer across multiple genres for years, here at Concord. We are thrilled that we get to continue our rewarding partnership, and further that we can expand that by working together with the super-talented Jon Class!”

Jeremy Lutito is a producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in East Nashville who has been published by Concord for over 7 years. Lutito continues to produce, record, and write with a wide range of artists and songwriters including, Joy Oladokun, Angie McMahon, Devon Gilfillian, Little Image, WilderWoods, NEEDTOBREATHE, Michigander, SONTALK, Savannah Conley, among many others. His compositions have been featured in national award-winning advertising campaigns for brands like Nike, Bose, Hyundai, Citibank, General Electric and more.

In 2022 Lutito, alongside collaborators Jessy Wilson and Angélique Kidjo, received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media for their title track “Keep Rising (The Woman King).” The song was produced, mixed and co-written by Lutito and featured in Sony Pictures’ The Woman King, starring Angela Basset and starred/directed by Viola Davis, which opened at #1 at the box office. Most recently, Lutito has completed production and writing on projects for Michigander (Thirty Tigers) and The Collection (Nettwerk).

“I’m thrilled to begin a new chapter with Concord,” said Jeremy Lutito. “I’ve been fortunate to have such amazing support with their dynamic team for the last six years and now we get to build on what we started. There’s no better person to kick off my joint venture with than Jon Class. He is the real deal, and I can’t wait for the world to hear all the music he touches.”

Jon Class began his music career shortly after college, recording songwriters and bands in the basement of his rented home in Anderson, Indiana. Now relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, Class stands out in the industry as a dynamic producer, mixer and writer, working with acts such as Abby Holliday, Medium Build, Michigander, Aquilo, Chase Wright, The Wldlfe, Alana Springsteen, Sandra McCracken, Motherfolk, Timothy Edward Carpentar, Casey Dubie, Josh Garrels, Chris Renzema and many others.

“When I moved to Nashville three years ago, Jeremy was one of the first people I connected with,” said Jon Class. “When he pitched this publishing venture to me, I was immediately on board. Once I met everyone at Concord and saw the amazing work and atmosphere that's cultivated here, it was a no brainer to have them on my team. I feel lucky to be signing with this wonderful group of people and look forward to all the great music I'll be making in the years to come.”

Jen Hubbard, Director of Sync A&R adds: “We are so excited to be working with Jon Class and welcome him to the Concord family. Jon is an exceptional writer, producer, and all around creative. His sound is fresh and uniquely his own – and we’re excited for the upcoming projects across all medium.”
