Bucks Music Group appoints Rick Lansdell as COO alongside key promotions

Flash Taylor,  James Paterson, Rhiannon Bramley, Maria McDonald, Sevana Mehrunnesa and Andrea Loizidou all step up at independent publisher.

 

Bucks Music Group has announced the appointment of Rick Lansdell as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as a number of key promotions.

Lansdell is an experienced music executive, having had roles at Sanctuary Records, Universal Music Group, Universal Music Publishing Group, Fremantlemedia and peermusic.

He joins Bucks Music Group after spending nine years at peermusic, where he reached the position of Head of UK Administration. 

He has also contributed to several industry groups over the course of his career, including PRS for Music’s Licensing Commercial Advisory Group (LCAG), IMPEL’s Working Group, and the Technical Online Working Group Europe (TOWGE).

Lansdell succeeds Shaun Hendry who retired earlier this year.

Bucks Music Group is also pleased to announce a number of senior promotions: 

• Flash Taylor moves from Senior A&R to Head of International A&R at Bucks;

• James Paterson steps up from A&R to Head of UK A&R at both Bucks and BDi Music;

• Rhiannon Bramley moves from A&R to Senior A&R at Bucks and BDi Music;

• Maria McDonald moves from Copyright Mansger to International Copyright Manager; 

• Sevana Mehrunnesa steps up from Copyright Assistant to UK Copyright Manager;

• Andrea Loizidou moves up from Sync Film & TV to Sync Executive.
