Brighton Music Conference expands 2025 edition with new venues and the return of A&R sessions




Brighton Music Conference (BMC), the UK’s leading electronic music and networking event is excited to reveal new venues for the conference programme, the return of the ‘A&R Sessions’ and the official BMC Welcome Party.

Taking place from 21st to 23rd May 2025 at some of Brighton’s best loved seafront venues, BMC will once again bring together Industry-leading professionals and present a packed programme of insightful talks, workshops and networking events.

The main ‘BMC Hub’ will be located at ‘Players’ (previously Coalition), which will be the new registration area, exhibition space and networking hub. One of the most iconic nightclub spaces on the south coast The Arch, will be the new space for sessions geared towards DJ’s, Producers and PromotersThe Lazy Fin will host breakfast networking sessions and workshops and the Harbour Hotel will host the new mental health, wellbeing & lifestyle programme sponsored by Skiddle.  With its stunning seafront terrace and cosy cave vibes, The Tempest will be the place for industry-related talks, the A&R Sessions and the official BMC Welcome Mixer in association with AFEM.

“As the event has grown, we realised we needed to expand and offer more space for delegates to network” says BMC founder Billy Mauseth“and with the current pressures on the night-time economies sector, it felt right to involve more venues in the city this year. We are really excited to see how this new set-up works and how we can continue to improve the event, shining a light on all the amazing talent in the UK electronic music scene.”

The ‘A&R Sessions’ will once again feature over 30 labels across different genres, giving more opportunities for immediate feedback with leading A&Rs in the electronic music industry. Headed up by the prolific DJ and music producer Steve Mac the ‘A&R Sessions’ will feature leading A&Rs in the electronic music industry including;  Apex, Armada,  Beatport Break the Future, Beat Dealer, Critical Music, Data Transmission, Defected,  Elevate, Eve Records, Helix Records, Inflyte, Krafted, LNADSML Records, Maraki, Mesh Records, Mixmasters, Prime Distribution, R&S, Red GIant Recordings, Rinse FM, Shogun Audio, Sleazy Deep, Toolroom Records, Trusted Rhythm,  We Are The Brave, Wh0 Plays with more to be confirmed.  Last year, the A&R Sessions was a sell-out success, with a high quality of tracks being submitted and several signings during the event.

The ‘A&R Sessions’ will take place at The Tempest on Brighton’s beachfront, just a short walk from the main BMC Hub at Players.  The sessions will be booked on a first come first served basis. Limited spaces available, book your tickets now here.

The Official BMC Welcome Party in association with AFEM is set to take place at The Tempest on Wednesday 21st May from 19:00 to 01:00. Network and enjoy music from DJ’s  Anna Cee, Dorian Flagrant, Jess Bays, Miss Cee and Trophy.
