Blackstar appoints Dan Alani as Head of Creative & launches new Brixton based panel series

Formerly a Senior Producer at Able Media, Dan brings with him a wealth of experience delivering advertising creative and has already worked on some of the year's biggest album campaigns including Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Arctic Monkeys, and Sam Smith.
With a successful track record, Dan Alani joins Blackstar, where he will take charge of overseeing the agency's creative offering. Within the role, he will collaborate closely with Blackstar's Social, Audience and Marketing teams internationally. Additionally, Dan will lead Blackstar's external creative studio offering.
Founded by Managing Director, Olivia Hobbs, in 2018, Blackstar has risen to prominence as an award-winning marketing agency for the music industry. Boasting an ever-growing roster of top-tier and breakout artists in both the UK and the US, the agency continues to expand its influence, with clients spanning Cat Burns, Arlo Parks, Shania Twain, Gabriels, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Mitch Rowland, Kylie Minogue and many more.

To coincide with the addition of Dan, Blackstar will be hosting the first in its quarterly panel series on September 14th. Blackstar Presents - Short Form Content Survival Skills will bring together panellists from across the industry to discuss how artists can harness the power of short form content to more effectively connect with their audiences.
