Future-focused creative marketeer and streaming expert joins from Warner Music Sweden
Magnus Ribbeklint is named General Manager of Atlantic Records UK reporting to President, Ben Cook.
Ribbeklint joins Atlantic UK having worked as General Manager of Warner Music Sweden, as well as Vice President, Marketing, Warner Music Nordics. A widely-respected leader in his field, Ribbeklint has been instrumental in guiding the company through the evolving digital landscape, with an innate understanding of the streaming era.

Ribbeklint will oversee digital, marketing, creative and PR, he will work alongside the award-winning teams for Promo, headed by Damian Christian, and A&R – both will continue to report directly to Cook.
Ribbeklint began his career at Modern Times Group before joining Sony Music Entertainment Sweden as Marketing Director. After five years he went on to become Commercial and Marketing Director, Warner Music Sweden. During his tenure, Warner Music Sweden has grown their market share dramatically by breaking more domestic artists and becoming best-in-class at connecting fans on social media. He was promoted to General Manager WM Sweden in 2016 and took the additional title VP Marketing Warner Music Nordics less than a year later.
Ribbelklint’s appointment succeeds the departure of Mark Mitchell who will be moving to Parlophone as Co-President. Magnus will be relocating to the UK to assume duties from January 2018.
Atlantic Records UK has a world class roster of artists including Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit, Plan B, James Blunt, Rita Ora, Rudimental, Charli XCX, Paolo Nutini, Anne-Marie, Birdy and many more, alongside American superstar such as Bruno Mars, twenty one pilots, Paramore, Galantis and Charlie Puth. Whilst a great class of new signings will pave the way for success in 2018 and beyond. These include the likes of Mahalia, Yonaka, Mullally, Tayá and Kojo Funds.
