Bauer Media signs Dawn French to the Greatest Hits Radio Network



Bauer Media has signed Dawn French as the station voice of national radio brand – Greatest Hits Radio. The station will play the biggest songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s, listeners will discover an upbeat, authentic, fun and entertaining formatwhere the ‘Good Times Sound Like This’.

Nothing short of a comedy legend, Dawn embodies the station’s brand values and is well known to the UK public for decades of award winning comedy and acting roles including playing the irrepressible Geraldine Granger in The Vicar of Dibley. She is currently staring alongside Julian Clary in Snow White at the London Palladium.

Greatest Hits Radio will target an audience who are loving life more than ever before, and perfectly complements its sister national radio station ‘Hits Radio’ both stations will sit within the Hits Radio Network.

These 40-59-year olds are ageless in attitude and seeking a station which evokes an emotional and palpable connection – partly because the music they will hear will be a part of the fabric of their formative years, and partly because the presenters share their passions – for music and for finding the joy in every corner of life.

The Greatest Hits Radio Network will be available on national DAB, FM in the West Midlands and Liverpool, AM, online, and on mobile devices.
