Bauer Media Audio to broadcast exclusive Coldplay concert to more than 40 million fans across Europe

Bauer Media Audio – Europe’s leading commercial radio broadcaster – has announced that it has signed an exclusive deal to broadcast Coldplay’s comeback concert to more than 40 million fans across Europe.

Leveraging its international reach and scale as Europe’s number one commercial radio broadcaster – Bauer Media Audio will air the concert on thirteen of its leading European radio brands across eight different countries. This includes stations such as: Absolute Radio (UK), The Hits Radio Network (UK), Today FM (Ireland), Radio Expres (Slovakia), RMF FM (Poland), Radio Nova (Finland), Radio Norge (Norway), Mix Megapol (Sweden) and NOVA (Denmark). Listeners will also be treated to three additional exclusive tracks from the event.

The concert – set to be first broadcast at 7PM GMT on Friday 15th October – marks Coldplay’s return to the stage ahead of the eagerly awaited release of their new album ‘Music of the Spheres’, playing to just 2,000 lucky fans at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The band are joined on stage by Bauer Media Audio’s Fleur East, after Chris Martin invited the singer and Hits Radio presenter to perform the track ‘Human Heart’ with the band. 

The broadcast underlines Bauer’s commitment to innovation within the audio universe,–the unmatched breadth of its brand portfolio to enable Coldplay to engage with  millions of its fans across Europe, unable to physically attend the concert.
