Bad Boy Chiller Crew sign to Greenback Records

Bad Boy Chiller Crew have teamed up with the notorious Irish label Greenback Records, and are set to release their first track together entitled ‘Niki Lauda’, out 16th October. This marks an exciting new era for Bradford's finest, since parting ways with their previous label which they famously documented in previous single ‘Royalties & Loyalties’.

With ‘Niki Lauda’, the trio have delivered another slice of high energy Bassline-Rap, showcasing their barring skills and playful lyricism, whilst channeling the fearless spirit of the legendary F1 driver.Produced by their long term collaborator Tactics, the tune takes its inspiration from one of their very first tracks ‘Pablo’, as they return to that original BBCC sound which first brought them together as a collective.

 

The much loved crew, Gareth "GK" Kelly, Kane Welsh, and Sam "Clive" Robinson have carved out their own unique lane in recent years, known for their raucous live shows, bassline-driven bangers and ‘Charva’ brand. Their impressive catalogue includes 2022’s album, ‘Disrespectful’ which peaked at No. 2 in the UK Official Album Charts, and was also ranked 10th in The New York Times' Best Albums of that year. The album features smash-hit ‘BMW’, which peaked at No. 7 in the UK Official Singles Charts. Around that time, The Guardian named them one of 50 new artists,whilst also being championed by Mixmag, Vice, Pitchfork and NME.
