Atlantic Records UK Appoints Mark Mitchell As Marketing Director



Atlantic Records UK today announced Mark ‘Mitch’ Mitchell has been promoted to Marketing Director, Atlantic Records UK, reporting to Mark Terry, General Manager. In his new role, Mitchell is responsible for all aspects of marketing across the UK label. He will build innovative marketing strategies and lead campaigns for Atlantic Records‘ roster of international acts and UK-signed artists.

Mark Terry said, “Since arriving at Atlantic last year, Mitch’s experience and creativity has benefited a wide range of talent. He is respected by media partners, artists and managers for his sophisticated and incisive understanding of the modern entertainment landscape. I’ve no doubt his broad expertise and thoughtful leadership skills will make him a valuable asset as we aggressively build on our recent successes.”

Mark Mitchell said, “I’ve very much enjoyed my time at Atlantic so far and I look forward to continuing to work with Max, Mark and the whole Atlantic team as we build our artists’ audiences, offering them exciting new creative and commercial opportunities.”

Previously, Mitchell established and ran King Harvest, a marketing consultancy with clients including The Prodigy, Domino Records (Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand) and Skint (Fatboy Slim). For two years of his time at King Harvest, he was also General Manager of The Quietus Group, which included the Drowned In Sound website and label along with The Quietus website and several other online publications. Prior to that, he was Marketing Director, Vital Sales and Marketing, now known as PIAS.
