Amnesia Ibiza announces a collection of Digital Arts on the Blockchain

In collaboration with Hipworth, the digital artist behind the famous Carl Cox portrait, and Heart of Bone, a boutique jewelry workshop, Amnesia Ibiza will be the First Ibiza brand to launch a collection of NFT digital artworks.

The drop, scheduled to take place on Makersplace will include 3 unique pieces of art :

  • A giant 1:1 piece signed by Hipworth which will exist both virtually as an NFT on the blockchain and physically with a giant frame installed inside the Amnesia club in Ibiza.
The lucky owner of this unique piece of art will have a lifetime VIP table at the club for him and 3 guests to be able to enter the club for free at any time to admire the physical version of his digital property.
Party goers will also be able to enjoy a unique experience while looking at the giant artwork inside the club with augmented reality.

  • A super rare edition of 150 numbered copies based on the iconic Amnesia pyramid. Buyers of this limited edition NFT will receive a unique medallion in the shape of the Amnesia pyramid, exclusively designed and handcrafted by Heart of Bone, a boutique jewelry workshop based in Melbourne, Australia. The medallion contains an RFID chip giving VIP access to the club for 2 persons with 2 drinks, every day of the season.

  • A limited edition (up to 999 copies) of an animated artwork based on the history of the club including unreleased music by Mar-T (Amnesia Ibiza’s resident DJ) and giving access to a secured vault where the NFT owners can listen to a curated playlist of 45 handpicked iconic tracks covering the last 45 years of Ibiza & Amnesia music history, year by year, a unique musical time travel experience.

“We have always been excited about new technologies at Amnesia, we were the first to install CO2 cannons inside the club, the first Ibiza club to have a website in the early days of the web and we will be the first ibiza club to open in the metaverse with Decentral Games, with this NFT collection and the precious help of Hipworth & Heart of Bone our aim is to be the first club to give a physical extension to to this virtual technology, to make the NFTs become alive, physically inside the club and daily around your neck” says Martin F. Vega, CEO and artistic director at Amnesia Ibiza.

“It is an honor for us at MakersPlace to work with Amnesia Ibiza, one of the most iconic clubs in the world, and the supremely talented Hipworth, an artist with a mesmerizing style who has been a force within the crypto art and NFT community from the beginning. Told through Hipworth's unique collage art style, this collaboration symbolizes a celebration and unification of physical and digital connections, extending Amnesia Ibiza's legacy onto the blockchain for the first time ever. This expansion of the physical world into the digital allows for a global celebration as we emerge from the covid lockdown era. We are extremely excited to be a part of this celebration!” says Aisha Arif, Community Marketing at Makersplace.

“I couldn't be more excited to be collaborating with Amnesia on their first NFT which will also find a home in the club as a physical print. Showcasing my work with an institution like this is a super honour and I can't wait to share the pieces” says Hipworth.

“Making material manifestations of the metaverse is something that we have been exploring for some time now so coming together on a collaboration of this nature was exciting and equally inspirational. Fusing together conceptual and and experimental design elements with the latest technology still using traditional bespoke craftsmanship is the kind of project that really got our heart beats up. We are thrilled to be collaborating with the extraordinary and brilliant team at Amnesia Ibiza and Hipworth says Emma Addams and Lenny Cohen from Heart of Bone.

The drop’s countdown has already started on www.amnesia.es/nft where buyers can register for the auction to take place on Makersplace this coming June 21st, at 21h 21mn 21s.
