Amazon Music to Celebrate Ed Sheeran’s New Album, =, With ‘Equals Live Experience’ Exclusive Performance

The exclusive performance will see Sheeran, one of the world’s biggest recording artists, play some of his most loved hits and a selection of brand-new tracks from his recently released fourth studio album, =, to an intimate audience for the very first time.

The performance will be broadcast globally and exclusively on Amazon Music at 8 p.m. GMT on 5 December

Today, Amazon Music and Ed Sheeran announced that fans worldwide will be taken on a spectacular audio-visual journey to celebrate the release of his new album, =, in front of an audience of competition winners at London’s Alexandra Palace. 

Viewers worldwide can tune in live with Amazon Music to experience the exclusive performance on the Amazon Music app, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and on Prime Video at 8 p.m. GMT on Sunday, 5 December.

The stunning visual performance will bring Ed’s brand-new album, =, to life for an intimate audience at London’s Alexandra Palace and for music fans around the world. Ed will take fans on a journey through his career to date, with each track bringing the audience closer to his latest body of work, =. The 90-minute set is the second part of Amazon Music’s support campaign for Ed’s latest album, which kicked off with the “Equals Listening Experience,” an immersive, augmented-reality experience for fans in London, that took place on the day of his album launch in October.  

Ed Sheeran said, “I’m looking forward to celebrating the release of = with this special gig and with my fans from across the globe. I’ll be playing a load of new tracks for the first time on the night, too! See you on the 5th x.”
