Annual list showcasing the UK artists tipped for future stardom

Amazon Music today announce their 'Artists to Watch' 2022 list, which highlights emerging UK talent on the rise who will be supported by Amazon Music over the next 12 months to aid their artistic development.

Handpicked by Amazon Music's expert programming team, the list of 25 artists showcases a wide range of genres and musical styles from those that are already in the scene and those breaking through. As champions of future sounds, Amazon Music will provide each artist with significant support over the next year to help them build on their success and provide them with a platform to shine. 

The Amazon Music 'Artists to Watch' 2022 list is (in alphabetical order): AMARIA BB, Anz, BandoKay, Chrissi, Cian Ducrot, Cristale, Emily Nash, Etaoin, Ewan McVicar, French The Kid, Gracey, HYYTS, Jasper Tygner, Jaz Karis, Kali Claire, Lola Young, Nova Twins, PinkPantheress, Priya Ragu, POLICE CAR COLLECTIVE, Tadhg Daly, Tems, The Mysterines, Thomas Headon, Wet Leg. 

This annual list is one of many ways Amazon Music continues to support and nurture new musical talent. Amazon Music's global developing artist programme 'Breakthrough' provides long-term, customised global plans for emerging artists during crucial moments in their careers. This support includes: video and audio content, global marketing, increased visibility across Amazon Music's playlists and programming and high-profile Amazon Original tracks available only on Amazon Music. Amazon Music also champions UK artists globally through curated playlists like '+44' - Amazon Music's brand dedicated to representing the sound of the UK, spotlighting and celebrating the best UK rap, R&B, grime, drill and afrobeats music and the artists behind it. 

The 'Artists to Watch' 2022 artists will be supported through prominent placements across Amazon Music's playlists and stations over the next year, along with an additional focus on new releases and further partnership opportunities to be announced in 2022.
