Amazon Music and Wireless Festival Announce New Collaboration

GoPuff Delivers Wireless Festival and Amazon Music today announce a new collaboration which welcomes Amazon Music and their playlist brand +44 as the official digital music streaming partner as well as the stage partner for the sold-out festival's second stage. Wireless, the UK's biggest and most famous contemporary Hip-Hop, Rap and RnB festival, will take place from July 7th-9th in London's Finsbury Park.

+44 is a space to celebrate and amplify Black music genres, the artists that make the music, as well as the culture behind it - connecting audiences to the artists they love via playlists, podcasts, events and original content. The official event playlist for Wireless will be available exclusively on Amazon Music. The 'Amazon Music +44 Stage' will play host to the best in UK talent including Clavish, Dreya Mac and K-Trap alongside international superstars Black Sherif, NLE Choppa, Latto and Joey Bada$$.

As part of the partnership, Amazon Music will give music fans the chance to create their very own Wireless content. A specially-created experiential space will allow festivalgoers the opportunity to create bespoke content for their social media channels, and give them the chance to win prizes ranging from exclusive merchandise to VIP festival tickets, bringing them even closer to the artists they love. Amazon Music will also have an exclusive backstage area where they will be capturing interviews and other content that will be released across the +44 (@plus44uk) and Amazon Music (@amazonmusicuk) Instagram handles.

The new stage collaboration comes on the heels of the success of Amazon Music's presence at The Great Escape in May, which saw them take over the festival's pop-up beach site to host 'Amazon Music presents TGE Beach'. +44 from Amazon Music also staged a showcase of exciting Black music artists on the third day of TGE with '+44 Live presents TGE Beach'. The showcase was headlined by South London star K-Trap, who performed alongside Zakhar, Shae Universe, Duchess, JBEE and AntsLive.

"Both +44 from Amazon Music and Wireless exist to celebrate and amplify Black music genres, the artists that make the music and the culture behind it," said James Ponnusamy, Wireless Festival's Promoter. "We share a mutual focus and passion to connect audiences to the artists they love and we couldn't imagine a better partner to host our second stage this year. We look forward to working closely with the +44 team over the coming weeks and sharing more incredible access and content with the fans."

"Supporting and championing Black music and its culture is something +44 and Amazon Music care deeply about. It's why we're passionate about collaborating with established and emerging acts in the Black music space who are driving the culture forward, and why we continue to innovate for them and their fans," said Laura Lukanz, Head of Music Industry, UK, Australia & New Zealand at Amazon Music. "Wireless is a key event in the UK Black music calendar and it has proved over the years to be a major cultural highlight. We're delighted to collaborate with Wireless Festival in 2023, and continue to soundtrack our customers summers'."
