ALL3MEDIA SIGNS DEAL WITH EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING

ALL3MEDIA, the UK’s largest independent television, film and digital production company, has signed a five-year group music publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing.
The deal appoints EMI Music Publishing as exclusive representative of the worldwide music publishing rights for three of the ALL3MEDIA companies, Bentley, Company Pictures and Studio Lambert.
The deal heralds a first for ALL3MEDIA where previously its production companies have negotiated individual music publishing deals. Once proven the deal could be rolled out across the entire ALL3MEDIA group as current deals come to a natural conclusion.
Jane Turton, Chief Operating Officer, ALL3MEDIA says: “This deal is a perfect example of how ALL3MEDIA is able to use its group leverage to deliver the best commercial and operational outcome. EMI is a market leader in music publishing so we are delighted to have signed this deal with them”.
James Carslake of EMI Music Publishing added: “We are extremely happy to have formed this relationship with All3Media and are committed to growing their business over the next few years.  Their status as Britain’s largest independent television production company paired with increased overseas presence, highlights a significant opportunity to develop their music catalogue.”
The deal was negotiated by Matthew Angel, ALL3MEDIA Controller of Legal and Business Affairs and James Carslake, EMI Account Manager, Broadcast & Media Rights.
