Today, chart-topping singer-songwriter Alex Warren joins an elite club of hit makers as global #1 smash “Ordinary” crosses 1 billion streams on Spotify. Warren is only the second artist to hit the milestone across all songs released in 2025 so far, following Bad Bunny’s “DtMF” last week. Reaching the achievement in just under 7 months since “Ordinary’s” late February release, he is the first new artist this year to make it into the famed Spotify Billions Club.  

At pop radio this week, “Ordinary” ties the all time record tenure at #1 with 12 consecutive weeks-and-counting on the Mediabase chart. 

“Ordinary” appears on his debut album, You”ll Be Alright, Kid which also includes multiple charting hits on the Billboard Hot 100 including “Ordinary,” “Eternity,” and “Bloodline” with Jelly Roll, “Carry You Home,” and “Burning Down” with Joe Jonas.

On Sunday, Warren took home the 2025 MTV VMA for Best New Artist and delivered an electrifying performance of “Eternity” into “Ordinary.” Watch HERE.
